Thankful…

I find myself in a season of graduations (not only high school but elementary and middle school too), kids moving out, and just the stress of summer starting. While I have been a foster parent, I have never had the opportunity to be a long-term earth-side parent through multiple seasons. What I do have is an amazing network of family and friends who have welcomed me into their lives. They have allowed me to witness not only all of the joys of parenthood, but the terrifying moments, the sad and the frustrating ones as well. They have opened their souls up and let me see the true intimate times that come with parenting. The tears of overwhelmed days and the tears for beautiful new beginnings. I cannot imagine where I would be without all of you. Thank you for sharing your most vulnerable sides with me. xx
